The venom is of no effect...

The enemy is moving through the depths of the darkness devouring those who are not walking in the spirit and experiencing the refreshing transformation of Holy Spirit.

The darkness looms in many places, yet it injects the venom in the heart and mind of the people. 

Paranoia becomes a habitual poisonous cycle in the veins of the people… Hatred replaces love… and Kingdom principles are snatched away by the independent selfishness that spews forth sin unto death.  The Lord would have you know that as you gaze upon him, the venom is of no effect!

“So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israeldied.  Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.  Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”  So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.” – Numbers 21:6-9 NKJV

The venom was real!  The fangs of the snake piercing the skin, muscle, and into the veins of the people were real!  Yet, because of their obedience and faith the people lived despite the apparent death blow…

The venom was of no effect in their life, and it will be of no effect in your life as you look up (heavenly expectation), look upon the risen one (Jesus), and allow his promise to overshadow every area of your life!

The King has provided all that you ever need to not only live in this world, but to succeed – despite your failures, shortcomings, and sin!  Yes, that includes you and your darkest level of sin and shame.  True Kingdom living is not based on your moral teachings, nor a list of rules and outward regulations, but upon the dependence of the one who lived, died, and was resurrected for you – yes, our King in this eternal Kingdom, Jesus Christ!

As you walk through the next season of life, the serpents will slither out to attack, and you may have the fangs pierce your heart of faith and hope.  Simply remember that the venom that Satan meant for demise is of no effect for those who keep their Heavenly perspective upon the Savior Jesus.

Are you going to believe that upon the whipping post Jesus truly took the sickness and disease that the enemy brings?  Are you going to believe that Jesus truly took all of the sin upon himself as he suffered on the cross? 

Look upon Jesus with a single eye, a single vision, and without distraction.

"If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. Therefore, if the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" -Matthew 6:22, 23
